Brian Christiana and Lady Knights soccer highlight Episode #235

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, Hall of Famer Brian Christiana joins the show to share about his time with the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and Penguins, as well as some of his other positions since his time at Central Penn. On the second segment, we welcome Lady Knights soccer coach Rudy Grubesky and captain Honestee Coldsmith to preview the upcoming season.
During our time with Christiana, we have the opportunity to talk about his career path since graduating from Central Penn College in 2020. This has included both becoming a teacher and gaining significant experience working in sports.
Recently, Christiana was featured in the PennDulum magazine, as well as on the Central Penn College website, about his path since walking across the stage. In addition to working with multiple sports teams and teaching, Christiana, a Knightly News Hall of Famer, still does broadcast work for the Knightly News and for Black Diamond Sports.

On the second segment of the show, we welcome Lady Knights head soccer coach Rudy Grubesky and captain Honestee Coldsmith to preview the upcoming season.
During the show, Grubesky had the opportunity to share his impressions of the squad this year, from returning players who will make an impact, to incoming freshmen and transfer players new to the team.
Coldsmith shared more about her path to Central Penn, one that was riddled with injuries and questions about whether she would continue playing soccer at the college level. The Knights are glad she has, because, after one year, Coldsmith is one of the captains of the team.
Additionally, Grubesky and Coldsmith talked more about the Lady Knights community service initiatives and the importance of team building through philanthropic efforts.
