On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, News Correspondent Noah Lopez offers the fall 2025 edition of the Knightly News Brief, an audio version of some of our best stories of the term. On the second segment, we take you back to earlier this year for a “Best Of” edition of the podcast, with Lopez interviewing Professor Paul Miller about his Christmas-movie-themed dissertation just in time for the holiday season.

On the second segment of the podcast, the Knightly News offers a “Best of” the podcast, as News Correspondent Noah Lopez interviews Dr. Paul Miller about his dissertation entitled “Cinematic Celebrations: Understanding Family Holiday Practices Through Christmas Movie Consumption.”
During the show, Lopez inquires about the background of the study, how Miller became interested in the topic, and some of the conclusions that were found throughout the process.
Miller completed his Communications Media and Instructional Technology Ph.D. program from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in December of 2024.
This is the final Knightly News Podcast of 2025. The show will return on Jan. 13, 2026.
