A student’s time in college is filled with more than classes.
Many students are involved in school clubs, sports or other programs.
We wanted to know what students have to say about their involvement in these activities, so we asked some of them.
Our question and some student responses follow.
The Knightly News asked: Are you involved In any clubs or sports on campus?

David Thomas
Central Penn student
“I’m not involved in any clubs, but I am on the Central Penn baseball team.”
I asked David about his experience playing on the team.
“Oh, I love it! Being on the baseball team gives me something to do other than just school or spending time with friends.”
David was April’s Central Penn College Male Student Athlete of the Month.

Clarissa Rudy
Central Penn student through West Shore Connect Program
“I’m in the Colleges Against Cancer club!”
I asked Clarissa what kinds of activities Colleges Against Cancer is involved in.
“I really love making hope packages. We put boxes together that get sent to people who have cancer and are in hospitals. We do a lot of fundraising, too. I really like getting involved with fundraising.”

Lindsay Bordner
Central Penn student
“I wish we had more diversity of clubs here on campus.”
Lindsay recently returned to campus after participating in the Disney College Intern Program and is nearing graduation. She added that she wouldn’t have time for a club at the moment because of her packed schedule.
