On a special extended episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Student Success Coach Elijah Tinson to discuss his new position and preview the upcoming Cross Country season. In the second segment, we welcome Knights Coach Robert Stern and players Dalton Koller and Kevon Davis to recap the baseball season that ended in an ESAC Championship.

During our first segment with Tinson, we discuss the role of our success coaches at Central Penn, including aspects of the job that may not be initially considered.

In addition, Tinson shares his background professionally, in athletics and as a coach. Tinson will also coach a cross-country team being rolled out at Central Penn in the coming terms.

On the second segment of the podcast, we welcome coach Robert Stern and players Dalton Koller and Kevon Davis to recap the Knights championship season.

During the episode, we review early season struggles, key games during the year, and the dramatic turn-around that paved the way to an ESAC Championship, the first in school history.

In addition, Davis and Koller share important moments from their season, while Stern comments on players who won end-of-season awards with the Knightly News.

Editor’s note: This podcast episode was recorded prior to the tragic passing of Knights baseball player Angel Mercado. The Knightly News would like to encourage anyone who is able to consider visiting the GoFundMe page set up by Coach Stern to assist his family with expenses.
