On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome the Executive Director of the Central Penn College Education Foundation Sandy Box to preview the upcoming scholarship application and men’s soccer coach Brian Osbourne to preview the 2023 fall season.

During our discussion with Box, we are also joined by Knightly News President and Education Foundation Intern Abbee Breski, who shares tips for success for students on their scholarship essays and her experience as an intern so far.

The Central Penn College Education Foundation offers a scholarship application every summer and winter to eligible students. The application is open from Aug. 1-25 and can be found at http://foundation.centralpenn.edu/.

This time, the question to be answered is: “How do you plan to use your education to help others?”

In addition, the group previews the Education Foundation Golf Open, taking place on Aug. 11 at Rich Valley Golf. A few teams are still available. More information can be found at http://www.centralpenn.edu/golfopen.

On the second segment of the podcast, we are joined by Osbourne and Knightly News Vice President Andrew Hunter, the starting goalie for the Knights.

Discussions on the podcast center around the successes of the 2022 season, where Central Penn saw four different players recognized with All-American honors.

In addition, Osbourne and Hunter look forward to the 2023 season, which kicks off on the road against Patrick Henry College on Aug. 26 and at home on Sept. 12.

For more information on the men’s soccer team, including their schedule, go to the Central Penn Knights homepage.
