Film Series and Sexual Assault Awareness Week focus of Episode #149

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Knightly News President Jenelle Dulack to preview her upcoming CPC Film Series presentation of “Hairspray” and the Dean of Equity and Student Success Megan Peterson to preview Sexual Assault Awareness Week.

During the episode, Dulack had the opportunity to discuss her winning Honorable Mention at the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association (PNA) Awards. Dulack was integral in the “Layers of Community” diversity series from the Knightly News.

The CPC Film Series, taking place on May 13 at 6:30 p.m. in the Capital BlueCross Theatre, marks only the second time for a student presenter.

Knightly News Film Correspondent Dylan Bowman also joined the show, asking questions about the film and Dulack’s attachment to it.

On the second segment of the podcast, Peterson joins the show to discuss programming around Sexual Assault Awareness Week (SAAW) on campus from April 25 – 29.

Peterson also discussed being awarded a substantial grant from It’s On Us, PA for work related to the education of college students about sexual assault.
