Janet Bixler, director of first-year experience, is hosting the college’s third quarterly Meet & Greet with Eats on April 7 at 4:30 p.m. in the Conference Center at Central Penn College.

This event will be held in the first week of spring term and all first-term students and Bixler encourages all to attend.

The Meet & Greet with Eats gives these students, whether they are residential, commuters or online, the opportunity to meet classmates, faculty and student-services staff.

The students will engage in activities that encourage interaction with everyone. At the fall 2021 Meet & Greet with Eats, students completed a student-services scavenger hunt.

“There will be food, photos and music to help create a party atmosphere for the new students to enjoy themselves,” Bixler said.

Student-services and academic programs will feature displays with information and resources.

Each new student will receive an event-specific T-shirt, and they can enter raffles to win a variety of prizes.

A showcase of the Meet & Greet with Eats is that new students receive an official welcome from President Dr. Linda Fedrizzi-Williams. Student leaders will offer advice.
