Central Penn College’s career services support students and alumni to succeed postgraduation with a variety of educational resources to assist graduates entering their preferred profession.

Bollinger Hall houses the Office of Career Services and Development, which includes an array of available resources.  These include resume and cover-letter assistance, mock interviews, internship placement and one-on-one career counseling.

The primary objective of the career services office is to provide each graduating student with the necessary confidence to enter the workforce after their studies at Central Penn.

Director of the Center for Career Services and Development Steve Hassinger

“Students may contact Career Services at any point during their time at Central Penn,” Director of the Center for Career Services and Development Steve Hassinger said. “Regardless of if you have recently started at Central Penn or will be graduating soon, we can help prepare you for your next step in life.”

In addition, after students graduate from Central Penn College, the career services department continues to support them as they pursue their careers.

Each year, career services sponsors various events from career fairs, networking sessions and employer panels during which students can interact with many local businesses and industry professionals. Many of these interactions result in internships, employment opportunities and professional relationships.

Career Services also collaborates with faculty members to incorporate career development into the curriculum of the courses offered, so that students can apply what they learned in the classroom to real-world experiences.

Central Penn’s Office of Career Services and Development is typically open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Students can schedule an appointment by stopping by Bollinger Hall Room 53 or by sending an email to [email protected].
