The Central Penn College Art Club invites students into a creative, stress-free environment to connect, have fun and engage in member-driven activities that help create a bright atmosphere around campus.

The club fosters an atmosphere where students of all kinds can unleash their creativity and let loose, providing them with a moment to decompress from their busy college schedules.

The club’s activities range from simple, creative projects to those that also benefit the community. The most recent event held by the club was an environmentally friendly rock-painting party to add decoration to a memorial tree outside Bollinger Hall.

Past events have included a Christmas party that featured making clay ornaments and crafting dog toys for a local animal shelter. All of the club’s events are driven by the members’ interests.

In preparation for upcoming events, the club is seeking to collaborate with the athletics program to plan additional activities. The students have already planned a Christmas event, so if you are ready to soak in the holiday magic and let your creativity flow, be on the lookout for information for this event.

Club adviser Judith Karas, also a success coach and director of accessibility services, said, “I hope students gain a sense of connection with the CPC community.”

Karas’ club began as a strong, student-led club, which she hopes to return to with the addition of new members.

Want to join the club? Don’t look any further! You can find the club’s weekly events on the CPC app or join at a meeting in the Learning HUB in Bollinger 59. For more information, contact [email protected] for more information.
