The Central Penn Lady Knights are undefeated at home, with six wins.

Recently, the Knights defeated Trinity Washington, 62-55, and Penn State York, 66-60.

The Knights’ record is 15-6, with four games left on the schedule – with the last game at home.

The ladies were in seventh place among 39 teams in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and 12th in the coaches’ poll on Tuesday, Athletic Director Kasey Hicks said.

Point guard Tahniyaah Jackson has been leading the way for the Knights, averaging 13.8 points per game, 10.2 rebounds a game and 4.1 assists a game.

“It feels great to be undefeated at home, because last year we had a whole new team, so we were still trying to get used to each other,” sophomore guard Jayla Pearson said. “This year, our chemistry is way better and the new recruits made us come together more. The feeling of knowing you’re at home and playing in front of people that you know makes us play better.”

Catch the Knights at their next home contest, Feb. 19, at 1 p.m., against Villa Maria, at East Pennsboro Area High School.
