CPC Film Series and fall events headline Episode #178

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Dr. Jared Rife to preview the upcoming CPC Film Series where he will present on 2004’s “Dawn of the Dead” and Athletics and Activities Coordinator Kenton Alston to preview fall sports and campus events this term.
During our time with Rife, the discussion centers on George Romero, the original creator of “Night of the Living Dead,” and his impact on the horror film genre. Rife shares the themes of the original film while contrasting Snyder’s 2004 edition.
The CPC Film Series will take place on Oct. 27 in the Capital BlueCross Theatre. Refreshments will be available for a donation to the Knightly News Media Club.

6 p.m. – Doors open
6:30 p.m. – “Dawn of the Dead” presentation from Dr. Rife
7 p.m. – Film screening
