Fall events and CPC Film Series highlight Episode #158

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome the Dean of Student Engagement Adrienne Thoman to preview homecoming weekend and discuss upcoming campus events. On the second segment, we welcome Assistant Professor of English Dr. Flora Armetta to chat about her upcoming CPC Film Series event as she presents “Knives Out” on Oct. 21.
During our time with Thoman, we preview the upcoming CPEC Job Fair, taking place on Nov. 2 at Adams-Ricci Park in Enola. The event will feature a “Tailgate and Relate” theme, which will be a less formal take on the traditional job fair.

On the second segment of the podcast, we welcome Dr. Flora Armetta to preview the upcoming CPC Film Series, taking place on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. in the Capital BlueCross Theatre.
Armetta, presenting the 2019 international hit “Knives Out,” discusses her passion for film over the years. “I think what I love is this other world that is created,” she noted on the episode.
The duo also discusses the film itself and how director Rian Johnson created a fresh take on the classic murder-mystery genre and proposed sequels for the franchise.
