Knightly News Co-Adviser

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Knightly News Hall of Famer Brian Christiana to discuss new updates in his career (along with opportunities for Central Penn students) and Library Director Diane Porterfield to chat about the upcoming Research Exhibition on the Summerdale campus.

During our time with Christiana, we talk about his new position with iHeartMedia, his on-field duties at the Lancaster Barnstormers, and relive the final Knights baseball game from FNB Field in April.

In addition, Christiana will be presenting and facilitating at the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Conference, something he participated in while in high school. Christiana noted the importance of this opportunity, saying that it was extremely influential in his growth as a professional. More information on the program can be found here.

On the second segment of the podcast, we welcome Library Director Diane Porterfield to discuss the June 2 Research Exhibition. The event will be taking place in the Conference Center from 3 – 5 p.m.

Here, Porterfield discusses the history of the exhibition, sharing memories of the first six years of the program, including the creativity used to continue doing the event over the past two years.

While registration for students has closed, Porterfield is still looking for judges. Click here to email her for more information about judging.
