By Paul Miller

Knightly News Co-Adviser

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Athletic Director Kasey Hicks to chat about the ESAC Championship for Knights baseball and the Activities and Athletics Banquet held in May. On the second segment, News Correspondent Noah Lopez gives the spring 2024 edition of the Knightly News Brief.

During our time with Hicks, the conversation begins with a time of reflection about the recent ESAC championship won by the baseball team. Hicks reminisces about her feelings about the season, culminating in the back-to-back title brought home by the Knights.

Also joining the podcast is Knightly News President Abbee Breski, who was an integral part of the baseball broadcasts. Breski was producer, photographer and sideline reporter for the home games this season, and she shared her perspective on the memorable campaign.

In addition, Hicks and Breski recapped the Activities and Athletics Banquet, specifically talking about the Knightly News Athlete of the Year, Andrew Hunter.

Lastly, Hicks previewed the ESAC Champions Celebration, taking place on June 13 on the ATEC Patio from noon – 1 p.m., and the Inaugural Angel Mercado Memorial Wiffle Ball Tournament happening later that day at 3:30 p.m.
