On Episode #143 of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Program Director of the Criminal Justice Department Johnna Whitcraft to discuss the upcoming CPC Film Series and the Dean of Student Engagement Adrienne Thoman to talk about January events on campus.

During our time with Whitcraft, the group has the opportunity to discuss how she developed a love of film, specifically stemming from her father. She described fond memories of the two experiencing films like “Braveheart” at a relatively young age, a tradition that still remains today.

This segment is also joined by Knightly News Reporter Dylan Bowman, the newest CPC Film Series Correspondent. Bowman is also a filmmaker in his own right, having created several films under his production company, Fellowship Studios.

The event, sponsored by The Knight Patrol, will take place on Jan. 28 at 6 p.m. in the Capital BlueCross Theatre as Whitcraft presents the 2013 film “Olympus Has Fallen.” The film, the first in a trilogy, features Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart and Morgan Freeman in an action-packed adventure. Admission is free and all are welcome. More information can be found here.

On the second segment of the podcast, we welcome the Dean of Student Engagement Adrienne Thoman, as she shares information about campus events during the winter term.

Also joined by Knightly News President Jenelle Dulack, the group shares insight on some highlighted events that will be taking place in January and February.
