The club offers members an array of opportunities to work with skilled professionals who have been in their industry for a long time and to link into a broad network that could kickstart a career while simultaneously learning the soft skills needed to become established in the competitive world of business.

The club’s mission is to create an environment for Central Penn College students focused on developing business education, and on professional and personal growth.

Once every other Wednesday, members and officers meet virtually through Teams at 6 p.m. A link is sent to members and to people interested in the club who contact the president or adviser (see information two paragraphs below)..  Students then have the opportunity to hear and interact with professionals from various career fields.

The club started in early 2021 with Kiele Hillegass as president. Crystal Rinker, the current club president, took over in January this year, and Professor Cassandra Hillegass is club adviser.

The business club has participated in social events around campus, such as the Back to Class Blast club fair. The club worked with Gamma Beta Phi to create a Friendsgiving, to connect students residing on campus over the Thanksgiving holiday break, by inviting them to meet in the multipurpose room to cook food and to socialize.
