On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome the Dean of Career Services and Development Steve Hassinger to chat about the upcoming Business Partner of the Year Breakfast and the Director of Student Housing and Residence Life Lindsay Garber to introduce Residence Life Coordinator Bal Bhujel and discuss the residence assistant (R.A.) program.
During our time with Hassinger, we focus on the upcoming Business Partner of the Year Breakfast, taking place on Aug. 31 in the Conference Center. This year, the theme of “re-imagine the future” is a mantra of the event, looking at how business will operate in the coming years. Mike Wilson from Members 1st will be the keynote speaker.

In addition, Hassinger previewed the Nov. 2 CPEC Job Fair, taking place at a different time and location this year, fresh with a new tailgating-style theme.
On the second segment, we welcome Director of Student Housing Residence Life Lindsay Garber to introduce Residence Life Coordinator Bal Bhujel and discuss the R.A. program, as well as share more about the CPC Pantry.
During our time with Garber and Bhujel, we discuss how students can take advantage of the CPC Pantry by submitting an anonymous form in Student Central or the Residence Life tab in Blackboard.
Then, the group chats about the R.A. program on campus and shares ways to get involved in this leadership position.
