Career Services to host clothing giveaway

The Career Services Department at Central Penn College will be holding a clothing giveaway on Aug. 25 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., in the lobby of the Conference Center in the Advanced Technology Education Center (ATEC).

In addition, the event will be open for invited classes from 10 – 11 a.m.

The event, taking place a week prior to the Business Partner of the Year Breakfast, is intended to allow students to find professional clothing that they are able to wear the following week or to add to their professional wardrobe collection. Students will be able to try on clothes during the event and can take home what suits them best. Dressing rooms will be available.

Many types of professional attire will be offered during the event, with men’s and women’s clothes in all sizes. Should students not be able to find a size they need, Career Services offers gift cards to Community Aid.

Career Services wants to provide students the tools that they need to succeed in networking events, and proper attire is one crucial tool.
