SUMMERDALE, Pa. — It’s almost here, foodies and music lovers!

The Harrisburg Taco & Margarita Festival is set to return to Central Penn College on Saturday to bring together taco enthusiasts, margarita connoisseurs and families looking for a fun-filled day, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Central Penn’s campus is at 600 Valley Road, East Pennsboro Township.

More than 10 taco and food vendors are set to participate, including 717 Tacos, Tacos Amigos, Purple Pepper Deli & Farmstand, and White Boy Tacos.

Besides the promise of mouth-watering food being on hand, the festival will feature a lineup of entertainment for visitors of all ages.

Organizers are looking to keep the atmosphere lively and energetic throughout the day with live music.

Local vendors will be selling merchandise.

General admission tickets are $10. Those tickets grant ticketholders access to the festival, with food and drinks available for purchase separately. Children under 12 can enter for free.

VIP (21+) tickets include two tacos, two margaritas and a festival T-shirt. VIP tickets cost $45. Buy tickets online at Central Penn College/Events.

Organizers will email ticket buyers for shirt size. They said T-shirts will be available only for people who buy tickets online but added that tickets will be on sale at the event.

The forecast calls for good weather for Saturday, so no rain date is planned.
