By Paul Miller

Knightly News Co-Adviser

On this special extended edition of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Knights Athletic Director Kasey Hicks to recap the men’s and women’s basketball season and Knightly News Reporters Kevon Davis and Dalton Koller to preview the upcoming baseball season.

During our time with Hicks, we look back at successful seasons from both the men’s and women’s basketball teams. Also joined by Knightly News Reporters Andrew Hunter and Blake Myers, the group discusses memorable games and the players who made an impact this season.

Specifically, discussions focused on Tahniyaah Jackson, senior point guard for the Lady Knights, who has played her last game with the college. Jackson, as Hicks says, will go down as one of the greatest players in the program’s history.

Additionally, Hicks discusses two new athletic offerings from Central Penn going into the new sports calendar.

On the second segment, the podcast welcomes Knightly News Reporters Dalton Koller and Kevon Davis, also integral members of Knights baseball, sharing a season preview for the team.

Koller, named Knightly News Cy Young Award winner from 2022 as a freshman, talked about his first season with the Knights. While he is remarkably pleased with his efforts in his freshman year, he knows he still has to improve as a pitcher.

Davis, starting third baseman for the Knights, shared his impressions for this season, specifically stepping into a leadership role with the new players on the team.

Lastly, Koller and Davis share memories from their experience with Camp Hill Challenger Baseball last season and look forward to future involvement with the organization.
