Spring events and College Against Cancer highlight Episode #168

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome Associate Vice President of Student Engagement Adrienne Thoman to discuss important spring events on campus and Internship Coordinator Kristin Fike to discuss workshops in the Career Services department as well as her duties with the Colleges Against Cancer Club.

On the first segment of the podcast, Thoman chats about a variety of events coming to campus, specifically “Adrienne’s Featured Three” events for the spring term.

  • April 19 – Green Team Lawn Party – 2 – 4 p.m. on the Quad
  • April 28 – 30 – Women’s Leadership Retreat – Camp Hebron, Halifax
  • May 5 – Armed Forces Association Movie Night – 6 – 9 p.m. in the Capital Blue Cross Theatre

In the second segment of the podcast, we welcome Kristin Fike to discuss a variety of initiatives on campus.

As one of her roles on campus, Fike is the adviser of the College Against Cancer (CAC) Club. During that segment of the podcast, she is joined by Knightly News reporter and CAC Club officer Sara Walters to discuss their upcoming “Pie a Professor” fundraiser on May 3.
