By Paul Miller

Knightly News Co-Adviser

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome the Executive Director of the Central Penn College Education Foundation to promote the current scholarship application available to students and Dr. Thomas Davis to discuss the impacts of programs like ChatGPT on higher education as a whole and what can be done about ethical issues that have arisen as a result of the adoption of the tech.

During our time with Box, we share more about the winter scholarship, which is open now until March 1. To apply, go to http://foundation.centralpenn.edu. For this term, the question is: What motivates you to pursue your academic and career goals, and how do you stay focused on them?

Also joining us on the podcast is Knightly News President Abbee Breski, who provides interesting insight into the Education Foundation, as she interned with Box in the summer term in 2023.

The podcast concluded with a discussion about the upcoming Central Penn College Education Foundation Golf Open, taking place at Rich Valley Golf Club on Aug. 9.

On the second segment of the podcast, we welcome Dr. Thomas Davis to discuss the impact of AI in the classroom.

During our time with Davis, we discussed the increase in plagiarism, the impact that it will have on the job market, and what the future holds for higher education.

Also joining the podcast is Knightly News Reporter Noah Lopez, providing a student perspective on how differing policies can cause confusion for students when completing assignments.
