Episode #154 talks scholarships and CPC Film Series

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we welcome the Executive Director of the Central Penn College Education Foundation Sandy Box to talk about the upcoming Golf Open and scholarship application and Dean of Student Engagement Adrienne Thoman to preview her upcoming CPC Film Series presentation for “Dirty Dancing.”

During the opening segment, Box shares tips for students to be successful in the upcoming scholarship application, available at http://foundation.centralpenn.edu from Aug. 1 – 26.

In addition, Knightly News Co-President Alexa Shughart joined the podcast to discuss her internship with the foundation, including the tasks she is involved in and how she has enjoyed her experience so far.

Finally, the group previews the upcoming 51st Annual Central Penn College Education Foundation Golf Open, taking place on Aug. 12 at Rich Valley Golf in Mechanicsburg.

On the second segment of the podcast, we welcome Dean of Student Engagement Adrienne Thoman to chat about her upcoming CPC Film Series presentation of “Dirty Dancing” on Aug. 5 in the Capital BlueCross Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the program will start at 6:30 p.m.

During the discussions, Thoman shares her love of the film, including reliving one of her fondest memories of visiting the resort where the movie was filmed.

Also, Knightly News Co-President and Film Series Correspondent Dylan Bowman joins the show, discussing his love of cinematography and relating that to the film.
