Knights baseball headlines Episode #206

By Paul Miller

Knightly News Co-Adviser

On this episode of the Knightly News Podcast, we chat with three members of the Central Penn Knights baseball team, Dalton Koller, Brady Park and Tyler Haynes. On the show, we take a walk down memory lane to review their 2024 ESAC Championship and look forward to the 2025 season with a new coach and several key players entering their final season as Knights.

On the first segment of the podcast, Koller and Park walk us through the ups and downs of the 2024 season. While the campaign culminated with a second consecutive ESAC Championship, last season did the Knights struggle on occasion, and Koller and Park share with us the pivotal moments that brought the Knights together to win the conference.

On the second segment of the podcast, Haynes, a freshman on the team, joins the show to talk more about the 2025 players. The team, which has already played several games, has a number of new players this season. While these new players will have to replace stars like Zach Boyer and Adam Hoover, Haynes says that he sees a great number of players ready to contribute to the team this season.

The Knights will continue to play throughout the end of February and into April. Their first home games will be at FNB Field for doubleheaders on March 18 and 20, both with 1 p.m. starts. You can always find out information about our sports teams by visiting http://www.centralpennknights.com.
