On Friday, I had the pleasure of hosting my second event for Central Penn Athletics – a pool party on campus.

As an intern in the athletics department, I must host three campus events. The first was a cornhole tournament, held in ATEC at the end of last month.

Blake Myers shows his feelings about the party,

We all had a great time on Friday at the pool, listening to music and eating food.

The weather was perfect for a pool party: It was 80 degrees, with a nice breeze.

We had cornhole games going on and had people playing pool basketball.

Everyone ate a lot of food and took some home with them.

A big thank you to the men’s soccer team for showing up and supporting my event.

Friday was a blast and I hope to keep the great turnout and good times going with the next event. Watch for news about the next one.

For information about future events, email Athletic Director Kasey Hicks at kaseyhicks@centralpenn.edu or me at kevon.davis@mymail.centralpenn.edu.

I hope to see even more people at our third event of the term. More information will be released via Student Central.
